1. Who we are

This website is operated by FilteDev, a web development studio led by Edmond Dema and based in Kosovo. FilteDev is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, phone number and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting and analytics tools collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site and when you visited.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send it through the contact form.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, because you asked us to (steps taken before entering into a contract).
• Deliver and manage projects for clients (performance of a contract).
• Understand how the website is used and improve it (our legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it).
• Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• HubSpot, which hosts this website and stores enquiries and client records in its CRM.
• Google, which serves the fonts used on this website. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
• Collaborators who work with us on a specific client project, under confidentiality obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based in, or process data in, countries outside Kosovo and the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as the working relationship lasts and afterwards for as long as we are legally required to keep them, for example for accounting purposes.

7. Cookies

This website uses cookies set by HubSpot to measure visits, recognise returning visitors and connect form submissions to website activity. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and where a cookie banner is shown you can accept or decline non-essential cookies there. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the website.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate information corrected.
• Have your information deleted.
• Restrict or object to how we use it.
• Receive your information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email contact@filtedev.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in Kosovo, the Information and Privacy Agency, or in the EU, the authority in the country where you live.

9. Security

We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers, and we limit access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
